Agape Walk In Clinic

There is a free nursing clinic on Friday January 16 from 11am to 3pm at the Agape Centre, 40 - 5Th Street West. A registered nurse will be available to give general health counselling, check blood pressure, screen for diabetes and cholestrol,offer information on pregnancy and baby care, and make referrals to other community agencies or programs if desired. Fundraising CD Available

Local Artist Kevin Rivette ‘s CD Goodbye Adieu Living the Power of a Dream Vivant la Puissance D’un Reve will be on sale December 19, 2009 for 10$ plus applicable taxes The net proceeds for this project will be given to our local Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation , the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation and a special education scholarship fund that is being set up for the soldiers that have died in Combat through the Royal Canadian Regiment Education Fund for Children of Fallen Soldiers.

The Manulife Walk for Memories takes place Sunday January 25 at the Cornwall Square. This annual fundraiser for the Alzheimer Society helps to provide help for today and hope for tomorrow.
